My father was Sqd Ldr David William Sames. He served CXX from 1965 on Shackletons then after conversion, the Mk1 Nimrod. His second tour with CXX was from Jan 75 to Jan 77. He devoted his career to flying for the RAF. He very sadly passed on New Years Day. I'm trying to get as much information as possible about him and his crews before I must perform his eulogy at his funeral in 2 weeks. I am in possession of his log books, which make facinating reading, however, any further information or help would be greatly appreciated. Many regards Mike Sames (son of David)
